FAFSA WORKSHOP - This Wednesday, February 28, 5:30-6:30 pm, we are hosting a FAFSA workshop at CCHS (room S126). FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid which is required by most colleges and universities to receive financial aid for higher education. If you have not yet completed the FAFSA, you are strongly encouraged to attend this workshop. Even if you have completed the FAFSA and still have questions, you are welcome to attend. Our presenter will be Natalie Crane, Director of Financial Aid at Aquinas College, who will help explain the FAFSA and what to expect in the award letters sent by the individual colleges and universities.  Ms.Crane will also assist seniors and their parents in creating FSA IDs as well as start the FAFSA. It is advised that all students planning to attend college in Fall 2024 complete the FAFSA by early March to ensure the maximum consideration for grants (federal and institutional). Questions?  Please contact Mrs. Smitley at heidismitley@grcatholiccentral.org.

BLESSING OF THE DAY - May God bless you in times of insensitivity. When you become aware of your lack of attention and thought for those who call out to you, may you be blessed with the wisdom to discern and recognize the thoughts that preoccupy you, the courage to examine them and the grace to address them. Through this inner journey may you return then to being a compassionate presence to God's people. May our Gracious God bless you with Self-Knowledge. --Maxine Shonk, OP
