ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY – On November 8, 1895, physicist Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen (1845-1923) becomes the first person to observe X-rays, a significant scientific advancement that would ultimately benefit a variety of fields, most of all medicine, by making the invisible visible.

Yellow Lunch Forms need to be turned in A.S.A.P.  Blank forms can be found in the main office.

Focus Time – Students be very careful when signing up for focus time – we are having numerous requests to make changes and can’t once they are locked.

Paying For College presentation

Next Wednesday, November 14 @ 7 pm, Catholic Central HS Library (3rd floor, elevator access available).
Our speaker, Joe Harmon, Financial Advisor for Harmon Wealth Management, shares with families the importance of having a strategy to pay for higher education regardless of your personal income, choice of college or use of financial aid.  Topics he will address are:

  • Learn the Four Step Process to Pay for College
  • How to Find Affordable Colleges
  • How Your Aid Eligibility & Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is calculated
  • How to Get More Aid
  • What to Do If You Won’t Qualify for Aid

This presentation has been designed to compliment the college counseling provided to your student by the Guidance team at Catholic Central.

Girls Soccer – Girls Soccer will be holding a meeting on Monday, November 12, 2018, at 6 pm to discuss winter training plans and spring try-out information. The meeting will be held at the CAT.
