What do you think about when we say science and religion?  While many consider these to be opposites, they are actually quite similar.  In both science and faith, we seek to understand the unknown.  Sign up to explore how the two are related in a retreat atmosphere through your religion classes.
Open to grades 9-11, the retreat will be on Friday, May 19 from 8:00-2:30 pm.  The cost is free.  Only a signed permission slip is needed to attend.   Permission slips will be available through religion classes and will be due by Friday, May 12.   No additional attendees will be accepted after May 12.

The Used Uniform Sale will take place on Thursday, May 18 from 2:30 – 7:00 pm and Friday, May 19 from 2:30 – 5:00 pm in the Gym Lobby (cash or check). Graduating Seniors won’t be needing their CC uniforms for much longer.  Please donate your items to the sale.  For other students who have outgrown or no longer need some uniform items, you are also welcome to donate.  Please drop off items into the marked bins in the cafeteria beginning on Monday, May 1.   SENIORS MAY ALSO DROP OFF ITEMS IN THE BINS ON GRADUATION EVENING – BINS WILL BE LOCATED IN THE PLAZA OUTSIDE OF THE CAFETERIA .

PRAYER – A DOMINICAN BLESSING FOR YOU –  May you be blessed by God when you begin to feel the pangs of resentment or envy. In those times may you open your own heart and see the utter uniqueness of your existence. May you see yourself as God sees you…beautifully and wonderfully made…in God’s very image! May you see the eyes of God gazing back at you with eternal pride and ever unconditional love. May these be the eyes with which you gaze upon those around you. May the God Within be blessing for you. –©Maxine Shonk, OP
