education

life’s most important investment

Catholic Central is committed to making Catholic education accessible to families from a range of economic backgrounds.

We recognize that paying tuition is a considerable investment for most families. That’s why we believe that tuition should not be a “one-size fits all” model or a reason why students cannot attend Catholic Central. We are proud to offer Financial Aid.

Application Guide for Families

What is Financial Aid?

Financial Aid allows families to apply for a reduced tuition rate that is based on their family’s unique financial situation.

While every family is expected to contribute to the cost of tuition and to support Catholic Central High School in some way, the Tuition Assistance program offers families an appropriate tuition level, making an excellent Catholic education accessible for more families within our community.

By making a Catholic Central High School education more financially possible, we will have the opportunity to fully utilize our exceptional staff and outstanding facilities and bring a rich diversity of students and families to our schools.

Financial Aid FAQs

How does Financial Aid work?

Any family may apply for Financial Aid. Many factors are considered when determining the tuition amount a family is able to pay, including income, assets, unusual expenses, and the size of the family and are reviewed by a third party company. A recommendation is then sent to our staff for review.

Do I need to apply for Financial Aid every year?

Yes, each family will need to reapply for Financial Aid every year. Priority is given to re-enrolling families.

If I do not qualify for Financial Aid this year, can I apply again next year?

Yes, every family is welcome to reapply for Financial Aid every year.

Are some families awarded full tuition?

No, every family is expected to contribute to the cost of tuition and to support Catholic Central High School in some way.

Will applying for Financial Aid hurt my student’s chance of being admitted to the school?

No, our admissions application and Financial Aid applications are evaluated separately, and an application for Financial Aid has no bearing on the admission process.

When will I receive confirmation of my Financial Aid?

Your confirmation of Financial Aid will depend on when you apply. If you apply by our priority deadline you will receive confirmation in mid-January. After the priority deadline, we will process applications on a rolling basis.
