SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 - On Thursday, September 4, we will have Carriers 1, 2, 3, 4, 8.

WHITE OUT SHIRTS - White out shirts for this Friday’s football game will be available for purchase, Thursday, September 4th at both lunches. Cost is $10, payable by cash or check. 

YEARBOOKS - Yearbooks are IN! New this year, students will pick up their yearbooks from their Coram Deo teachers. Students must pick up books before or after school and may not interrupt classes. 

 CLUB SIGNUPS - Club sign ups will take place on Wednesday, September 3 and Thursday, September 4 during both lunches. There will be a table with sign up sheets and descriptions of each club. Any questions contact Mrs. Stickler.

If you are interested in starting a new club please fill out the form below! The form is due by September 1st. Make sure you also have talked to a staff sponsor that will oversee the club. Let me know if you have any questions. New Club Form

HOMECOMING - We are excited to invite you to Catholic Central Homecoming 2025! The leadership team has been hard at work planning your special night. The theme of this year’s Homecoming is Rio, come out to enjoy a night with friends!

  • Date - September 20, 2025
  • Time - 8pm-11pm, Doors close at 9pm, no re-entry allowed
  • Where - The CAT (2770 Knapp St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525)
  • Open to - 10th-12th grade Catholic Central students and guests with a guest pass
    • Guest Passes - can be picked up in the main office, due Friday, September 12th
  • Ticket Cost - $20 per person with cash or check made out to Catholic Central
    • Ticket Sales - Lunches Tuesday 9/16 - Friday 9/19  All tickets must be purchased by Friday, September 19. 
    • If paying for your ticket to homecoming is a financial concern, please contact Mrs. Lamrouex or your counselor for assistance. We do not want financial concern to be a barrier to enjoying this night with your classmates. 

Mrs. Lamrouex will follow up with expectations for the dance per the student handbook.

All student dress must be appropriate and meet the guidelines laid out in the student handbook. No leggings (unless under shorts), bare midriffs, or references to politics, drugs or alcohol are allowed at any time.

BLOOD DRIVE NEWS - Mark your calendars! The first CC Blood Drive of this school year is happening on September 12th, 2025. If you're 16 or older, this is your chance to make a difference—one donation can help save up to three lives! Bonus: Those who donate or volunteer multiple times may qualify for a special red cord to wear at graduation!

STUDENTS FOR LIFE - Tomorrow, during focus time, we will have a Students for Life Kickoff event. This event will be our first event of the school year and we encourage everyone to come and participate. The kickoff will take place on the second floor of the student center where there will be food available. If you know of someone who is interested in joining the club or is interested in participating in any of the Students for Life activities, please reach out to either me or Mrs. Lambert. We hope to see many of y’all at tomorrow’s kickoff!

ROBOTICS NEWS - The Spires Robotics Team is looking for any and all girls who would be interested in competing in a Robotics competition called Grand Rapids Girls Robotics Competition on Saturday September 13th at Allendale High School. You do not need to be on the Spires Robotics Team to try out this event.  If interested, contact Mrs. VanderMolen julievandermolen@grcatholiccentral.org

STEAM OPPORTUNITY - The Perry Outreach Program is hosting an even Saturday, October 25th at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. The Perry Outreach Program is a free, one-day, hands-on experience to encourage youth to pursue careers in medicine and engineering. Students will hear from  leaders in these fields and try it for themselves by performing mock orthopaedic surgeries and biomechanics experiments.
