The Brian Bush Life Award honors a freshman who exemplifies the highest Christian ideals and shows service to the Catholic Central community, the Grand Rapids community, or both. Eligible students must:

1. Be in 9th grade and registered for 10th grade.
2. Demonstrate contributions through service.
3. Show gentleness of spirit and respect for all people.
4. Exhibit positive academic growth throughout the year.
5. Show enthusiasm for life and an understanding of Christ in each person.
6. Demonstrate genuine appreciation for family.

Nominations are due April 17, 2026, and should highlight students who embody these values in their actions, academics, and interactions with others.
