Big news for one of our Cougars: Jonny Gudino ’20 is competing on Season 25 of FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen!

Jonny is bringing his culinary talent to the national stage, competing alongside chefs from across the country for the opportunity to become a head chef at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants.

A 2020 Catholic Central graduate, Jonny went on to pursue his passion for culinary arts at Grand Rapids Community College’s Secchia Institute for Culinary Education, where he graduated in 2024. Today, he works as a personal chef and food service professional, putting his culinary skills to work through private dining and other food experiences.

Jonny’s journey to Hell’s Kitchen began while he was still in culinary school. After initially applying to the show as a joke in 2023, he was contacted by casting directors in 2025 and went through an extensive interview and casting process before earning his spot on Season 25.

Now, Jonny is taking on the challenge of cooking under the pressure of one of television’s most demanding kitchens.
