Celebrating Faith-Filled Leadership at Honors Convocation

One of the highlights of this year's Honors Convocation was the presentation of several awards that reflect the vibrant faith life of Catholic Central High School. Presented by Deacon Rybicki, these honors recognize seniors who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to their faith, service, and leadership within our Catholic community.

Pro Ecclesiae Award

Recipients: Miranda Aguilar Ramirez and Grant Hillary

The Pro Ecclesiae Award recognizes graduating seniors who have exemplified the teachings of the Catholic Church and significantly served the mission of the Church through faith-based activities. Miranda and Grant have been outstanding examples of faithful leadership and service throughout their time at Catholic Central.

Saint Andrew Award for Liturgical Ministry

Recipients: Grant Hillary, Albert Diaz, Kathleen Sullivan, and Aileny Tenorio

This award honors graduating seniors who have been actively involved in school liturgies and prayer while enhancing the ministry of Catholic Central. Through their dedication and participation, these students have helped foster meaningful worship experiences for our school community.

St. Cecilia Liturgical Music Award

Recipients: Albert Diaz and Kathleen Sullivan

Named after the patron saint of music, the St. Cecilia Liturgical Music Award recognizes graduating seniors who have faithfully served Catholic Central liturgies through cantoring, choir leadership, or instrumental accompaniment. Albert and Kathleen have shared their musical gifts in ways that have enriched countless school Masses and prayer services.

Lumen Christi Award

Recipients: Aileny Tenorio and Jack Finkler

The Lumen Christi Award recognizes graduating seniors who have made significant contributions to the faith life of Catholic Central. By living intentionally faith-filled lives and sharing the light of Christ with others, Aileny and Jack have left a lasting impact on our school community.

Congratulations to all of these students for their witness, leadership, and commitment to living out their faith. Their contributions have strengthened the Catholic identity of our school and inspired those around them.
