Dear Junior Parents and Guardians,

We are looking forward to our upcoming retreat with the Junior Class, which will focus on Catholic Social Teaching and our Call as Christian Disciples. It is going to be a great day!

Here is essential information you need to know about this upcoming Retreat Day on Tuesday, October 6, 2026:

Important Information:

We have changed the format of this retreat so that, beginning this year, all Junior students will be together on this one retreat day. Please note that this is a change from the past, where the class was divided over two days.

Transportation: Bus service to Catholic Central will still be available in the morning and afternoon at regular times.

When: Tuesday, October 6. Arrive by 7:45am. The retreat begins at 8:00 am and finishes at 2:55pm. There are no classes on this day, but it is still considered a school day, and attendance will be taken.

Where: Meet in the lower level of the Cathedral of Saint Andrew. Teachers will be in front of the Cathedral to direct you.

What to wear: Plan to wear comfortable clothes. Please follow all non-uniform day dress code rules.

Lunch: Provided at no additional cost. Please bring a water bottle for the day.

Parent Chaperones: We would love to have parent chaperones join this retreat. If you are available and would like to help, please contact Deacon Rybicki at dennisrybicki@grcattholiccentral.org.

Paperwork: Every Junior must turn in a signed and completed CC Permission/Field Trip slip to their Theology teacher no later than Friday, October 2.

Forms: Forms can be received from your Theology class. A digital form can be found HERE.

Cost: There is a $20 cost for this retreat. Please pay through Infinite Campus by Friday, October 2. Financial assistance is available. Please contact Deacon Rybicki.

We are looking forward to being with you as a part of this important and meaningful retreat experience!

If you have any other questions and/or concerns about the day, please contact Deacon Rybicki at dennisrybicki@grcattholiccentral.org.

Peace,

Dcn. Dennis Rybicki
