Dear Senior Parents and Guardians,

My name is Deacon Dennis Rybicki, Director of Campus Ministry. Iam excited to share exciting information with you regarding our upcoming Kairosretreats.

Catholic Central began this meaningful retreat program fouryears ago. Kairos retreats are Catholic/Christian and spiritual, and they makea positive difference in our students' faith lives. We now join the manyCatholic high schools throughout the country that offer this retreat to theirstudents. 

I want you to know that I have seen with my own eyes how Kairoshas changed the young people on retreat and brought them closer to God, theirfamilies, their friends, and themselves. Through small-group sharing, spiritualtalks (similar to Cursillo), time for journaling, private prayer, daily Mass,Reconciliation, and time away from the craziness of everyday life - thesestudents came back refreshed, grateful, renewed in their faith, and just happy!All of our Kairos retreats have been nothing short of miraculous! 

Our first Kairos retreat (Kairos 12) this year is coming upsoon. The dates are November 17 (leaving after school) through November20 (returning Friday afternoon at 3 pm). The retreat will be held at St. Francis Retreat Center inDewitt, MI. We have an adult team, a student team, and priests all in place andexcited to deliver this retreat. If the November date doesn’t work for your Senior, weare also offering the same retreat two more times:

February (February 16-19, 2027) Kairos 13 (This retreat begins in the evening of the lastday of Midwinter Break)

June (June 14-17, 2027) Kairos 14

I encourage you to have a conversation with your daughter or sonabout going on this retreat. If they plan to attend, ask them to encouragetheir friends to go. Perhaps help them understand why taking a couple of daysto deepen their relationship with the Lord is important.

Registrationis currently open for all Seniors and will stay open until October30 (or until all spaces are filled). My prayer is that, with yourhelp, our Kairos retreatswill continue to transform the spiritual lives of all our CC students!
