Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic

This March, twenty-one Catholic Central HS Seniors traveled to the Dominican Republic with one mission: serving the poorest of the poor. Over the course of five days, they helped build five homes, served children in orphanages and schools, and worked side-by-side with members of the local community. By achieving this mission, their faith deepened significantly.

Despite the language barrier, our Seniors quickly immersed themselves in the Dominican culture - forming meaningful connections, sharing smiles, and embracing the spirit of service. Every morning and evening, students took time to pray and reflect together, strengthening their relationship with God by serving those in poverty. This annual international mission trip is a true testament to our school’s commitment to living out the Gospel, both here at home and abroad.
