SAT INFORMATION FOR TOMORROW - Juniors - Please see this document for more information.

Freshmen, Sophomores, & Seniors -  No students will be allowed on the fifth floor or in Student Support Services until testing has concluded. There will be no bells tomorrow. If you have a locker or a class on the 5th floor, please be sure you have what you need prior to 8:00am and that you know where you are going for your classes. Ask a teacher/staff member if you need help!

We will be administering the SAT on the 5th floor so 5th floor teachers will need to be moved. It is a P Tuesday (Carriers 1,3,5).  Please check the list of room assignments below.

BUSING INFORMATION - Students who ride bus #17 home to the Forest Hills area - that the bus will be 5-10 minutes late to CC this week only.

PROM INFORMATION - Juniors and Seniors - We are excited to invite you to Catholic Central Prom 2026! The seniors have been hard at work planning your special night. The theme of this year’s Prom is Mamma Mia. 

  • Date - May 9, 2026
  • Time - Doors open at 6:00pm, and close at 7 and dinner will be served at 7
  • Where - StoneWater Country Club

Tickets will be sold at lunches next week Wednesday 4/22 - Friday 4/24. The tickets are $75 per person. All guest passes must be turned in to the office by Tuesday, April 21. If paying for your ticket to prom is a financial concern, please contact Mrs. Lamrouex or your counselor for assistance. We do not want financial concern to be a barrier to enjoying this night with your classmates.

Watch for more details regarding the theme days the week before the dance and any additional information about Prom 2026. Seniors will be getting the form to vote for prom court today! 

BLUE & WHITE - The Blue & White just had a massive April Fools Day drop filled with humorous stories. Be sure to subscribe to our website!

SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITY - Volunteers are needed to load items left over from the IHM Second Best Sale from 12 - 2 on Saturday, April 18.  See Mr. Passinault if you are able to help.

HONORS ART SHOW - Join us for a showcase featuring the incredible 2D and 3D artwork of Catholic Central’s Honors Art class on April 15th,

5:30-7:00 pm at Cathedral Square! All students, parents, staff, and friends are welcome to attend! Light refreshments will be provided.

SACRED HEART MUSICAL - Join Sacred Heart Theater Arts for The Prince of Egypt: The Musical, coming to the Wealthy Street Theater April 23–25. Experience this powerful and inspiring production filled with unforgettable music, storytelling, and student talent. Tickets go on sale April 6 at shgr.org/theaterarts.

BLOOD DRIVE - Mark your calendars! The final CC Blood Drive of this school year is happening April 17th, 2026. If you're 16 or older, this is your chance to make a difference - one donation can help save up to three lives! Bonus: Those who donate or volunteer multiple times may qualify for a special red cord to wear at graduation!

CATHOLIC CENTRAL INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE - Catholic Central Class of 2027 and 2028: you are invited to participate in the third year of the Catholic Central Internship Experience (CCIE). Please read below if you are interested in learning more and applying. This summer we are offering six internship placements: John Ball Zoo, The Center for Physical Rehabilitation, Stenger & Stenger Law Firm., New Growth Project, Arts in Motion, and Catholic Central Athletics, Admissions, and Advancement.

CONGRESSIONAL YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL - Current Sophomores & Juniors - Congresswoman Hillary Scholten is excited to announce the inaugural Congressional Youth Advisory Council (CYAC)! This student-led council gives juniors and seniors in Michigan’s 3rd District a unique opportunity to engage with Rep. Scholten’s office, share their perspectives, and help shape policy on issues important to youth.

  • Applications Close: June 30, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST

SCHOLARSHIPS - Thanks to generous donors, Catholic Central has three scholarships available for seniors planning to attend college after graduation:

  • The Dennis W. Campbell Memorial Scholarship for Graduating Seniors - This scholarship was established for seniors who plan to go to college or to a trade or vocational school with the intent to return home after graduating to help run their family-owned business. 
  • Frank and Mary Hernes Memorial Scholarship for Graduating Seniors - Interested candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above will submit an essay reflecting on how the Catholic education you've received at CC has prepared you for college and the secular world.
  • Mary Lynn Kampfschulte Scholarship Fund - Kampfschulte scholarship applicants will be students who intend to study Education in college and have a strong desire to help students in a classroom setting. 

Please visit grcatholiccentral.org/scholarships for more information and submission requirements for each of these scholarships, and consider applying. Applications are due Friday, April 17. The amount of each scholarship award is dependent on the funds available at the time of distribution. The application form and instructions are attached below.

The Campbell scholarship requires two letters of recommendation. Anyone writing a letter of recommendation is welcome to submit via this Google Form: Letter of Recommendation. Printed or emailed copies are also accepted.
