Mrs. Lamrouex will follow up with expectations for the dance per the student handbook.

Since this is also Catholic Schools Week, the Campus Ministry department will be following up with some celebrations and a dress down day happening this week.

WINTER THEATER WORKSHOP - The theater department has a wonderful opportunity for you! If you have been interested in getting involved either on or behind the stage but were unsure of where to start, listen up! Instead of our traditional Shakespeare winter, we have a free two day workshop and showcase with director Mr. Topie! Come learn how to deliver monologues, work in small scenes, or operate the technical side of a show! The workshop is on January 15 beginning at 5 and the showcase is January 17 at 4, both being located at Aquinas' PAC. More information is found here! Mr. Harvey will be available this week during B lunch, and in his room (310) for any questions you might have!

BOOK STUDY - Mrs. VanderMolen is looking to gauge interest in the Science, Faith, and Reason Book study that typically runs during the 3rd marking period. It requires attendance at 8 Focus Time meetings. These meetings include discussion of reading that has been assigned between Focus Times.  The book is called "Finding God in the Waves" by Mike McHargue.  It is a very interesting and easy read!

This fulfills the required 8 hours needed for the STEAM designation, although there have been many participants that are not pursuing the STEAM designation. All are welcome! If you are interested, please let Mrs. VanderMolen know. Priority is given to juniors and seniors as they try to complete the STEAM requirements, but there is often room for underclassmen.

BLOOD DRIVE - Mark your calendars! The third CC Blood Drive of this school year is happening January 30th, 2026. BLESSING OF THE DAY - May you be blessed with an awareness of God when you are lonely. When the "empty chair" looms large in your life and you long for relationship and connection, may you look for God who comes to sit with you…in the guise of a child or the person in need or the neighbor who inquires. May you also find God in the reflection in your mirror- always inviting, always longing to be in relationship with you. May God, Constant Companion, bless you always. --Maxine Shonk, OP
