CONGRATULATIONS BAND - Congratulations to the CC Marching Band for receiving a Division I (Superior) Rating at Festival Friday! They played and represented CC incredibly well. We are so unbelievably proud of our students! If you see them, wish them a hearty congratulations! They are also very proud of their performance and the work they put in.
SHARE A MEAL, SUPPORT THE MISSION - Join us in supporting our D.R. Mission Trip students as they raise funds for their upcoming mission! On Monday, March 2nd, dine in at Vitale's (6650 Fulton St E, Ada, MI 49301) from 4:00 p.m. to close, where a percentage of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to Adelante Youth Mission and Catholic Central High School. WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP - Parents, students, and staff are invited to join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly watercolor workshop led by our very own Mrs. Blair and fr. Doug. Together, they will guide participants through the basics of watercolor painting, offering simple techniques, helpful tips, and encouragement along the way. Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or just want to brush up on your skills, this is a wonderful opportunity to explore your creativity while enjoying the fellowship of painting alongside others in our school community. MODEL UN - The Model United Nations Team is looking for a few more interested students to compete with them at the MSU Model United Nations Conference, March 13-15 in East Lansing. If you are interested in international politics, problem-solving, diplomacy, and debate, joining the MUN team is in your future! GIRLS' WATER POLO - The CC-EGR girls co-op water polo team is looking for players and anyone interested in trying a new sport. No prior water polo knowledge or experience is required. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - Enjoy working with kids? And would you also enjoy a volunteer activity that involves running? San Juan Diego Academy is looking for volunteers to help coach the Total Trek Quest program this Spring at the school. TTQ is a program for 3rd to 5th grade boys that teaches them to make positive life choices through running, culminating in a competitive 5K run at the end of the practices. Practices run on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:40 to 5:10 p.m., beginning March 17 and ending on May 16. (There are no practices during Spring break.) All you would need to do is run with the boys and encourage them to keep moving toward their goal. Running times range from 20 minutes to 40 minutes. There will be trained coaches present who will be responsible for actually running practices. Coaches may be male or female, but must be at least 16 years old.
