ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2026

NO MORNING MASS - Fr. Colin is away this week. He will return on February 19th to celebrate morning Mass.

SPIRIT DAY TOMORROW - Tomorrow, Friday, February 13 will be a CC Spirit Day (dress down) as a fundraiser for the Dominican Republic service trip. $2 for jeans, $5 for sweatpants, or donate any amount above and beyond! Payment can be made in C2 Friday morning. 

As a reminder:

• No slides/sandals - uniform appropriate shoes only
• Must wear pants - no shorts or skirts (outside of uniform bottoms). 
• No spandex, leggings, or stretch/yoga pants.
• Show your pride and wear your CC gear!
• OR wear red or pink for Valentine's Day!

ATTENDANCE COMPETITION - Tomorrow is our next house attendance competition for the boys and girls basketball games. Both games are sponsored by our Black Students Union to commemorate Black History Month. Make sure to come hungry as we will have meals from the Candied Yam available to purchase for $15. It is also senior night for both teams! As there are two games being played, you are permitted to sign in for attending both games. Mrs. Lamroeux and I will sign in students during halftime of the boys game and halftime of the girls game.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - The Black Student Union in partnership with athletics is celebrating Black History Month at the basketball games on Friday. It is senior night and a house competition so it will be a great night and hope you can make it! We will have food, trivia (with prizes) and a lot of happy students. Mrs. Meerman is looking for a few (5-6) volunteers to help package food (from Candied Yam) in to-go containers that we will be serving out of the concession stand at the game. If you are able to help it would be from around 4:45-6pm. Thank you for considering! 

GIRLS’ SOCCER - Open Play & Speed & Agility at the CAT. All are welcome!

JUNIOR JOB SHADOWS - Just a reminder about Job Shadow placements - forms are due to your Theology teacher by Monday, March 2nd.  Forms were handed out in class at the start of 2nd semester. There are copies posted on Father Greer's canvas page and he has extra copies if needed. Contact Mrs. VanderMolen with any questions.

CAREER TALKS - Career Talk opportunities this week include - Thursday 2/12 - Pharmacist - Kathryn Pilczuk, a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Corewell Health will talk about being a pharmacist and surrounding careers.
