REGISTRATION PACKETS - Registration packets are due this Friday, February 27th. Return your signed packet to the counseling office by Friday. If you have any questions about your courses for next year, reach out to your counselor as soon as possible. After Friday, counselors will not be able to make changes to your course selections unless cleared by administration.
SHARE A MEAL, SUPPORT THE MISSION - Join us in supporting our D.R. Mission Trip students as they raise funds for their upcoming mission! On Monday, March 2nd, dine in at Vitale's (6650 Fulton St E, Ada, MI 49301) from 4:00 p.m. to close, where a percentage of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to Adelante Youth Mission and Catholic Central High School.Bring your family and friends for a great meal while supporting a great cause! LOST AND FOUND - There are still 2 suit coats, a pair of black heels, and a black puffer jacket that were left behind at Sno-Shuffle and are in the main office. These items will be moved to the Student Center Lost and Found on Monday if they are not claimed. Please check your belongings to make sure they aren’t yours.
MODEL UN - The Model United Nations Team is looking for a few more interested students to compete with them at the MSU Model United Nations Conference, March 13-15 in East Lansing. If you are interested in international politics, problem-solving, diplomacy, and debate, joining the MUN team is in your future! Extra-curricular activities with an academic focus like Model UN look great on your college or scholarship applications. See Mr. Schrems or join Thursday’s Focus Time (2/26).
SAT STUDY SESSION - NHS is hosting SAT Study Sessions to prepare for the March SAT. Sessions will be held in the 2nd floor student center from 3-4pm. Contact Rowan Kozminski with questions. See the flyer for details!
GIRLS' WATER POLO - The CC-EGR girls co-op water polo team is looking for players and anyone interested in trying a new sport. No prior water polo knowledge or experience is required. FOWLING TOURNAMENT - The boys lacrosse team is hosting a Fowling Tournament on Saturday, February 28th at the Fowling Warehouse. They have a special rate just for students of $50 per team (2 people), which includes fowling and food. The winning team will receive a prize and trophy! They will be selling tickets at lunches on Monday and Tuesday. Tickets can be purchased with cash or card. Find a friend, buy a ticket at lunch, and get ready for a fun day of fowling!
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - Enjoy working with kids? And would you also enjoy a volunteer activity that involves running? San Juan Diego Academy is looking for volunteers to help coach the Total Trek Quest program this Spring at the school. TTQ is a program for 3rd to 5th grade boys that teaches them to make positive life choices through running, culminating in a competitive 5K run at the end of the practices. Practices run on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:40 to 5:10 p.m., beginning March 17 and ending on May 16. (There are no practices during Spring break.) All you would need to do is run with the boys and encourage them to keep moving toward their goal. Running times range from 20 minutes to 40 minutes. There will be trained coaches present who will be responsible for actually running practices. Coaches may be male or female, but must be at least 16 years old.
