PROM SPIRIT WEEK - The following dress down day rules still apply: Must wear pants - no shorts or skirts (outside of uniform bottoms), No spandex, leggings, or stretch/yoga pants.
SENIOR YARD SIGNS - If you (or your parent) ordered a Senior yard sign, they have arrived and are available for pick up by the main entrance. Signs are sorted alphabetically by first name. If you have any questions, please stop in the main office.
KAIROS - A friendly reminder that registration for KAIROS 11 will close this Friday, May 8. Spots are limited, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible if you are planning to attend. KAIROS is a meaningful experience, and we hope you will take advantage of this opportunity. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Thang or Deacon Rybicki (Room 208.) FORD LEADERSHIP FORUM - Current Catholic Central students, grades 9-11, with a strong interest in public service, civic engagement, and ethical leadership can be nominated for the 2026-27 Gerald R. Ford Leadership Forum. Students are encouraged to read the email sent to them by Mrs.Smitley earlier this week. To be considered for nomination, by Monday, May 10, underclassmen can email heidismitley@grcatholiccentral.org with a thoughtful response to the following question: Why are you interested in joining the Ford Leadership Forum's high school program?
COUGAR GEAR STORE - The Cougar Gear Store is back open at the CAT! Stop by for all of your Spring Sports needs!
COLOR GUARD - Join the Catholic Central Color Guard! Attend Open Spin to learn the basics of Color Guard and see what it’s all about. Open Spin rehearsals will be held in the Band Room from 6:00 - 8:30 PM on May 5 and May 11. Auditions for Color Guard will take place on Tuesday, May 19. No experience is necessary! All are welcome!
DISCERNMENT GROUP - Interested in Discerning a Call to the Priesthood? Students who are curious about the priesthood or want to learn more about discernment are invited to a conversation with Fr. Nick Baker on May 13 in Room 201 from 11:20–12:30. This is an open, low‑pressure opportunity to ask questions, hear about the discernment process, and explore what a vocation to the priesthood might look like. All are welcome—whether you’re seriously considering it or simply curious.
