ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025
BOWLING FOCUS TIME - We have added a Focus Time on Tuesday November 4 with our bowling coaches. If you are not involved in a winter sport, I encourage you to come and talk with our coaches and learn more about the CC Bowling team. This opportunity is for both women and men, social and competitive bowlers.
PIZZA & DISCERNMENT - You’re invited to our first Discernment Group meeting — and yes, there will be pizza! We’ll be talking about discerning God’s will for our lives and making plans for future meetings. This is a great opportunity to reflect, share, and connect with others who are seeking to grow in faith.
Please note that if you choose to participate, you may miss a portion or all of your 4th carrier! This group is open to both men and women — all are welcome! If you’d like to join us, please RSVP by clicking on the link here: RSVP Discernment & Pizza. We hope to see you there! Questions? - Please contact Mrs. Thang-Hernandez at sarahihernandez@grcatholiccentral.org.
FOOTBALL TICKET INFORMATION - Tickets for Friday night’s football game vs. West Catholic are now available for purchase on GoFan. All students must have a ticket for entry to the game. Be sure to get your ticket early as the game may sell out!
MICHIGAN MARCH FOR LIFE - There are 14 seats available for this Thursday's trip to Lansing for the Michigan March for Life. Please get the $25 dollars to Mrs. Lambert as soon as possible to save your seat.
CLOTHING DRIVE - The Cougars for a Cause Club is sponsoring a clothing drive for AYA Youth Collective. The drive is running this week and we are asking for gently used winter jackets, sweatshirts, and short and long sleeve shirts. The AYA provides drop in services and basic resources for 14-24 year olds who are experiencing homelessness, a housing crisis, or are in need of a safe space. Please see this FLYER for more details or contact Mrs. Blair with any questions.
OPEN HOUSE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - The CC Open House is right around the corner, and we're asking for your help. Please review all of the details below and reach out to Mr. Sloan if you have any questions!
Please register using this link. We will need students to lead tours, serve at sports and clubs tables, and to be present and help direct traffic, among other tasks that we may have for you. We will release instructions once we have the list of students who will be attending.

BLESSING OF THE DAY - May the God of Vision be with you. May you see as God sees and dream as God dreams for the world around you. With the eyes of God, may you look upon those who are hurting and know compassion, upon those who are holy and know joy, upon those who are broken and know understanding and mercy. May this God help you to see the truth about yourself no matter how beautiful it is. May the blessing of Vision be on you. --Maxine Shonk, OP
