NO MORNING MASS THIS WEEK - Morning Mass is cancelled this week due to the priest convocation up north. Mass will resume next week.

SERVE-A-THON - This is a reminder that our incentive day off on Monday, September 28, is dependent on our attendance at Serve-a-thon this Wednesday! In order to earn the day off, we must have 95% or more of our students in attendance for the entire day. Attendance will be taken both in the morning and in the afternoon, so make sure you are present and participating all day. If you have questions, please ask your Coram Deo teacher or stop by the main office. Let's have a great day giving back to our community Wednesday and earn that day off!

HOMECOMING GUEST PASSES - Homecoming week, and the many fun events that come with it, is just around the corner! More details about the week and the dance, open to 10th-12th grade students, will be coming soon, but today we want to let you know that if you plan to bring a guest from another school, guest passes are available to pick up in the main office. Guest passes must be turned in by Friday, September 25th and require the signature of your guest's parents and school administrator. Please be sure to plan enough time to get this completed and turned in by next Friday.

FALL PLAY - If you are interested in helping backstage with the crew for the fall play, Mr. Harvey has set up a Focus Time for next Tuesday! We are going to need a good chunk of folks backstage, so your help would be greatly appreciated! If you cannot make it, please reach out to Mr. Harvey directly and he can give you an idea of what we'll be needing specifically after Tuesday!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - It’s time for the All Saints Academy Back to School Carnival! This fun-filled event is only possible with the help of our amazing volunteers and school community. Students in 6th grade and older are welcome to volunteer! Volunteers who work 2 or more time slots will receive a FREE lunch! • Chemistry Lecture at GVSU Thursday 9/24 - Preparing for Future Pandemics 6pm at the GVSU Kirkhof Center Grand River Room.
• Cosmetology Career Talk Friday 9/25 - Allyssa Hagenah, from Douglas J Institute will come talk about opportunities surrounding careers in cosmetology. Sign up in Focus.
• HOSA Possibility - Catholic Central is exploring the possibility of starting a HOSA chapter.  We are trying to gauge interest, as we need at least 10 students to start a new chapter. • Van Andel Journal Club Sign Up - The High School Journal Club introduces students to the work of scientists by critically evaluating current research. LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY - Leadership opportunity for CCHS students (all grades) who are residents in the city of GR- Mayor's Youth Council members serve a one-year term from October to May. Council members broaden the scope of youth leadership in city government by discussing policy issues that affect them with the Mayor, City Commission, and staff; gathering input from area youth; promoting awareness of the strengths and abilities of youth; and coordinating with other local and national organizations.
